10^th Annual Soup’s On For All Raises $100,000 for God’s Kitchen

 

Community members nearly packed The B.O.B. on January 28 for soup and more at the 10^th Annual Soup’s On For All fundraiser. Together they warmed hearts one bowl at a time, raising $100,000 for God’s Kitchen.

 

Area restaurants provided over 25 soups, as well as breads and desserts, so every guest could eat their fill while enjoying the live entertainment on nearly every floor. Each guest also left the event with a unique ceramic dish, hand-painted by a community member. It serves as a visual reminder of the hunger that goes on every day in our community.

 

God’s Kitchen serves 205,000 meals each year through Capitol Lunch, its Heartside neighborhood dining program, and through the Meals On Wheels program.
